Maggie Hampshire received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 1988. Her entire career has been focused in Oncology. Her clinical experience began at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she spent 6 years working as a clinical nurse on the Gyn/Oncology floor. There, she managed all care and treatment of inpatients with various women's health and oncology diagnoses. The next 2 years were spent at the Jefferson Cancer Network where she was the co-coordinator of the Jefferson Multidisciplinary Cancer Center. This position required the management of a large outpatient population with varied clinical cancer diagnoses. Currently, she is the Managing Editor of OncoLink, The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania Resource. Her prime area of interest is developing new teaching content for cancer patients and their families.
