The Impact of the Affordable Care Act on Cancer Patients – Slides

The Affordable Care Act (also known by many as “Obamacare”) is the law of the land! For the first time in American history, most Americans will be required to have health insurance. What does this mean? How do I purchase a new health plan? How can I compare costs and coverage? How does the Affordable Care Act make care more accessible for those with pre-existing conditions and/or chronic illnesses, such as cancer. If you are looking to learn about your options for new insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act, this workshop will help you understand the basics of the law, the types of plans that will be offered, how the plans will be managed, what is NOT included in the act (debunking some myths about the act) and how to get coverage.

This webinar will have a slideshow along with audio. You will need to dial in to a conference call line to hear the speaker and that phone number will be posted here prior to the presentation. There is no video of the presentation. A few days after the live event, there will be an archive of the presentation here for viewing.
