1. Identify signaling pathways that are involved in the growth and metastases of many individual tumor types, and identify specific opportunities for therapeutic intervention.
2. Describe the science of pharmacogenomics and relate this understanding to the management of your patients with cancer.
3. Based on recent clinical trials, assess the efficacy of novel therapeutic strategies in the treatment of your patients with cancer.
4. Discuss the rationale and efficacy of combination therapies, including the incorporation of targeted agents into standard chemotherapy regimens and combinations of multiple targeted agents.
