Conference Agenda: Many patients with cancer are exploring complementary and alternative medical (CAM) approaches as a means of enhancing their energy and sense of well being. This day of renewal will support and guide you in your efforts to find the CAM therapies that may be right for you.
The morning sessions will provide information on an array of CAM therapies. Experts will describe and demonstrate different CAM approaches to address fatigue, pain, sleep quality and general well being. These experts will also provide information on how to find competent, skilled and appropriately trained practitioners.
In the afternoon, CAM practitioners will conduct private, individual sessions on the therapies presented that morning. For those participants not receiving individual sessions, there will be a variety of presentations and opportunities to question experts in different CAM-related fields.
