Conference Objectives: An update of research efforts from major Cooperative Groups from the United States, Europe, and Asia. The format of the meeting will include didactic lectures from internationally renowned leaders, debates and discussions on controversial topics, extensive panel discussions with case scenarios, multidisciplinary tumor boards, question-and-answer sessions, and afternoon translational workshops focusing on future strategies in development for the treatment of lung cancer.
Who Should Attend: medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, Fellows, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, researchers, and other health care professionals interested in the treatment of lung cancer are also invited to attend.

Dec 17, 2010 - Stereotactic body radiation therapy may be just as good as surgery for treating patients 75 years of age and older with early-stage non-small-cell lung cancer, according to research presented at the 2010 Chicago Multidisciplinary Symposium in Thoracic Oncology, held from Dec. 9 to 11.
