Recent Rise in Oropharyngeal Cancer Incidence Due to HPV

Oct 4, 2011 - The recent increase in population-level incidence and survival of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinomas in the United States from 1984 to 2004 is due to human papillomavirus infection, according to a study published online Oct. 3 in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
