During the 10 years my twin sister survived with metastatic breast cancer, I made many angels and talismans with the hope they would help her. I like to think that it was partly through my efforts that my sister was granted eight more years of life.

In the end, she decided it was time to go, and she refused any further treatment. In the last few days of her life, she reported seeing angels in her room, and it is my hope that they indeed were there to guide her into whatever the next life holds.
