A Message to Those Who Provide Day-to-Day Care to Hospice Patients

The days ahead will be a challenge to you. An illness of one family member affects the entire family. Your family will go through many changes that you may find difficult. Penn Wissahickon Hospice is here to help you.

Don't forget yourself. It is important that you, the caregiver, take good care of your own health. Please ask your family physician how to keep yourself healthy. Eat properly - a balanced diet is essential for energy. Rest whenever possible.

Allow others to help. Often friends feel helpless because they do not know how to help you during this difficult time. Please let them know what they can do to make your life easier.
