Today this thought compels me,
To remind myself again.
That God's love is everywhere,
And applied to every pain.

No matter how low we feel,
No matter how distraught.
His love is freely given,
It never can be bought.

There are those who know this well.
And in their hearts they feel,
That love is in the heart,
And God is very real.

If every ill and every hurt
Be gone as well as strife,
Then there would be no need for faith,
To guide us through this life.
