Chemotherapy is your weapon.

The term "chemotherapy" may raise many images in your mind, possibly some of them quite frightening. That's why it's important to know that chemotherapy is your powerful weapon in the fight against cancer.

Great strides have been made in the recent past toward making your journey through treatment much smoother, both physically and emotionally. Breakthroughs have also improved the effectiveness of treatment, increasing the odds of success.

It's been said that chemotherapy is the treatment that can make you feel sick in order to get better. That is because chemotherapy cannot tell the difference between cancer cells and healthy cells. Please keep in mind that the discomforts are usually temporary and the rewards can be great.

Learning all you can about the facts of treatment and becoming an active partner in your own care are the best ways to overcome any concerns and to empower yourself in the process of getting well.
