A white cotton t-shirt is adequate coverage to protect against the sun if I'm sitting on the beach: Fact or Myth?

MYTH!! A white cotton t-shirt only has an SPF of 5. Don't be fooled. Seek shade under the umbrella and wear your sunscreen.
