Question

Can you give me some advice on getting on with life after someone has gone through thyroid cancer? I feel like I just don’t fit into my life anymore. I am always worrying about my cancer coming back.

I have found the best way to get on with life after a thyroid cancer diagnosis is to try and get back to your normal routines and activities. As a thyroid cancer patient myself, I have tried to continue working, maintaining a social life, and doing the things I enjoy. As for your worry of it coming back, be diligent in maintaining appointments with your endocrinologist and continue to conduct self neck checks in between appointments.
