Target Audience and Course Overview
This course is designed to train radiation oncologists and medical physicists in the use of proton therapy as a treatment for several types of cancer.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Explain proton therapy
- Identify appropriate patients for proton therapy
- Develop patient treatment regimens
- Assess patient outcomes after treatment
