- Will I be a survivor
- Or wind up a statistic instead
- As I go through the treatments
- I wonder what lies ahead
- After the treatment is over
- You can relax for a while
- And if things go real good
- You might even smile
- Is the cancer gone
- Did the treatment do its thing
- Or will my PSA rise again
- And with it trouble bring
- Now's a time for just waiting
- For tests to be done
- To see if this round
- Is one that you have won
- If my PSA stays stable
- And doesn't show a rise
- I will be a survivor
- You won't hear of my demise.
