Vaginal dysplasia after cervical dysplasia |
Dear OncoLink "Ask The Experts," Christina S. Chu, MD, Assistant Professor of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, responds: Vaginal dysplasia may occur in patients treated for cervical dysplasia or cervical cancer. A prior history of cervical dysplasia does not affect treatment recommendations for new vaginal dysplasia. Treatment options include excision, laser ablation, or application of topical 5-fluorouracil cream. |
