"Written at a children's level, Roswellness is the story of my experience as a bone marrow donor. My sister, two years younger than myself, was diagnosed with CML in 1989 at the age of 12. Later that same year, I donated bone marrow for her transplant. Written in 1992, Roswellness was my way of showing support and sharing information to younger donors. Roswellness is a book for everyone; children, adults, patients, and their friends. Roswellness is also a book for the donors involved. I am currently working on a sequel, being that eight years after, my sister has currently had a relapse. She is now being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. I have giver her 2 white cell transfusions, which of yet, are not working. I would very much like to see my story, Roswellness, be of comfort to others who have gone or are going through a similar situation. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you!"
