What are early signs or symptoms that I might have mesothelioma?

Approximately 90% of patient present with shortness of breath, chest pain, or both. Less commonly, patients can present with a collapsed lung and have sudden onset of significant difficulty with breathing. Blood clots, pneumonias, small bowel obstruction (that can present with cramping intermittent abdominal pain, vomiting, bloating, constipation, and diarrhea), or cardiac symptoms may occur for patients with more advanced disease.
