When I was 12 years old, my entire life changed. My grandfather
died, my father was murdered and my mother got
cancer. Nine months later, my grandmother died of complications from cancer. Losing my grandmother was an enormous loss for me. My mother's courageous battle with basal cell carcinoma and her untimely death at age 48 caused deep sadness, but it inspired me to use art as a medium for my own emotional healing.
From Where Does My Help Come? was created from the deepest place of pain, fear and hope.
Hebrew translation means:
I lift my eyes to the mountains.
From where does my help come?
It comes from God.
Creator of heaven and earth.
