Description

The Gastric Feeding Button is a special type of feeding device that is surgically placed into the stomach, or it may be used to replace an already existing feeding tube. The gastric feeding button is used to deliver nutrients directly into the stomach if one is unable to eat or to eat enough to maintain adequate nutritional status. The device is level with the skin. During the feeding an adaptor is used. When the feeding is completed the adaptor can be removed and the button will be even with the skin.
