In 1986, my world was turned upside-down upon hearing four words:
You have breast cancer. During the following five years, I turned to
nature for strength and support. I dreamed of walking in the woods,
sitting by a waterfall, hiking in the wilderness and filling my soul
with a healing light from an inner sun. I saw only black and white.
