In my head
In my mind,
In the deepest part of me,
A thought grows,
And it gets bigger,
Beginning to overload my head
With an emotion,
Sometimes sad.
Sometimes happy,
Sometimes neither one
I think of
My Father, who has cancer,
Walking with a cane,
Moving so slow,
That thought always seems to be
The biggest one to grow.
