Breast Cancer photo gravure, surface roll, silk screen 22 x 15 inches 1995

This print, the first in a series, is my small attempt to deal with cancer. Combining a highly realistic and sensitive drawing of the human form with an invented and arbitrarily imposed geometry reveals something of the insidious feeling of invasion. This, along with the text, is intended to relate the pervasive and tragic nature of the disease.
