It's Monday morning
At a quarter to ten
I sit here waiting
For PSA results again

It happens every three months
It's something I dread
They're checking to see
If the cancer has spread

If the test is high
It means further treatment
And more side effects
Some of them permanent

Cancer treatment sucks
You ask, if it's worthwhile
But in the end
You just take it and smile.
