My son and I lived with my dad for four years and took care of him while he was dying from lung cancer.
Helping my father die was a profound experience that has deeply influenced the way I perceive life and death and what is sacred concerning both.
It wasn't until after his death that I was able to fulfill the need to release the very strong feeling of this experience with paint and brush.
