Target Audience and Course Overview

This course is designed to train radiation oncologists and medical physicists in the use of proton therapy as a treatment for several types of cancer.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Explain proton therapy
  • Identify appropriate patients for proton therapy
  • Develop patient treatment regimens
  • Assess patient outcomes after treatment
