Surgical Treatments: Vulvectomy

The vulva is the outer portion of a woman's genitals and includes the labia minora and majors. A vulvectomy is a procedure in which a surgeon removes all or part of the vulva, most often for the treatment of vulvar cancer. This article will discuss the different types, the risks and is effects, recovery and care at home.
