I Pray Today

Today I pray with faith in God.
His presence I feel here.
This prayer to him for another
Will be heard I have no fear.

Surely I don't know how it works.
That's part of loving trust.
He reveals to each of us himself
As he does what he, himself, must.

Within his being not fathomed,
Within his will not known,
He makes of us his instruments,
As his love in us is sown.

Dear God I pray to you today
With this thought in mind,
That you will make more of me
As more of your will I find.
